Rescuers Prayer

Lord, as I rise to meet a new day, grant me the strength to walk 
as an angel of mercy among my fellow man.Grant me the compassion 
to help those in their darkest time of need. To ease there suffering and pain. 
Grant me the courage to face the Grim Reeper, and battle once again for a 
strangers soul. Give me the strength to raise my sword and protect those 
who can not protect themselves. 

Lord at the end of the day comfort me in my lonliness. 
And if this is to be my final minute on this earth, grant 
me one final request. Comfort those who will mourn my passing. 
Show them mercy and take away there sorrow. Mine was a good life, 
filled much happiness, love and laughter.
