Responders, this week I feel it appropriate to include one of my
favorite exercises. I qualify it as an ‘everything’ exercise. This
movement conditions the body as a whole and teaches the ‘core’ and spine
to stiffen. This will allow us to resist the forces that cause injury
while maintaining a stable posture.

If a kettle bell
is not available use a dumbbell or simply the floor. Hold for 5 seconds
each rep. DO NOT allow your knees to bend, hips to move at all and
keep your back flat. A secret for this movement is to squeeze your
glutes at all times, it greatly intensifies the exercise. Want to have a
lot of fun, add a push up, more fun ya say, do a push up with one foot
off the floor.
