Paramedic Arrogance and the Kind of Medic I Want to be

First day of paramedic class, about a month ago now, my instructor walked into the room and began his speech:  "If I ever hear of any of you walking into a scene and saying, 'I'm the paramedic, I'm here to fix it, I'm in charge,' I'll hunt you down and kill you."

Rescuers Prayer

Lord, as I rise to meet a new day, grant me the strength to walk 

as an angel of mercy among my fellow man.Grant me the compassion 

to help those in their darkest time of need. To ease there suffering and pain.
