Ok, so..Ive been in EMS for about 8 years, been an Intermediate for the last 5. I just got my Paramedic in August, but still function as an Intermediate because of the county I live in (Columbus County, NC has no "County system", rescue squads handle their own areas and only 1 squad in the whole county is Paramedic with only 4 paid people.
