- About Me
- Dedicated to helping others. EMS is my life, I started working on Ambulances back in 1969 (the good old days). Worked as a non-paid volenteer, paid volenteer, hospital based, fire department based, third service town, private ambulance. My career started before there was an EMS system. Over the last 40 years EMS has gone through many changes, some very good and some not so good. (I miss the old Ambulances). In 1982 I became one of the first licensed paramedics in the Great State of Maine, having been in the very first paramedic program in the State.
I have two great sons, not in EMS, on their own with familes of their own back east. Due to work I don't get back home much, but my heart is there.
