EMS1 COMMUNITY MEMBER CONDUCT POLICY
1. Respecting Other Members
EMS1 Community requires that all members who post a blog or who comment in the discussions, groups, or on any other content respectfully interact with other members. Personal attacks towards other members will not be permitted at any time. Discussions may also be taken offline via private messages between members. It is important that EMS1 Community provides a respectful, welcoming environment.
2. Topics
EMS1 Community understands that discussion topics may evolve and change over time. However, if you are posting to a specific discussion, please try to stay focused on the same topic throughout the life of the thread. If your post is not related to the original topic, please start a new discussion.
3. Multiple Posts
In the interest of maintaining an organized, user-friendly web site, please refrain from posting repetitive comments or discussions wherever possible.
4. Deliberate Posting of Offensive or Contentious Messages
Unfortunately, we in the EMS community must deal with individuals who are looking to bait or attack us. Posting messages that attack a person's character, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, intelligence or any form of degradation will not be tolerated. Any unjustified attacks on the EMS profession will not be allowed.
5. Sexual Content and Profanity
While mild joking is OK, discussions or comments that are directed towards sex will not be allowed. If a discussion gets out of hand it will be locked or deleted. Sexual solicitation or innuendos will not be tolerated. Furthermore, we request that profanity be kept to a minimum.
6. Copyright/Trademarked Material
Please refrain from uploading or posting any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party.
7. Removal of Posts
EMS1 Community encourages free speech and the open sharing of thoughts and information; however, EMS1 Community management maintains the right to remove anything that is deemed thoroughly unprofessional or offensive.
8. Profile Policy
EMS1 Community is intended for use by members of the EMS community, including potential, current and former ems professionals and their family and friends.
EMS1 Community also invites the public, or EMS community, to become members and to participate by asking questions of legitimate concern, by posting information that is informative and by contributing expertise from a non-EMS perspective.
Using this site inappropriately to spam/advertise or to solicit members in any way will result in account termination. Commercial entities are not allowed to create member accounts on behalf of their company or solicit existing members to purchase products or services.
EMS1 COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT MAINTAINS THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE A MEMBER'S ACCOUNT FOR ANY PERCEIVED VIOLATION OF THE MEMBER CONDUCT POLICY.
