I say right on. I love being able to do both. But If it did come down to it I would choose Medical over Fire. But I'm glad I dont have to make that choice cuz I love doin both:)

We are one of the few non combined departments in the area but the city and county governments are pushing to consolidate and if that happens there is a idea on the table to combine departments. Right now fire is city and EMS is county there are a few medics who don't get the idea they are scared they will have to fight fire.

Does it have to be with in the same dept. or will separate entitys work.
