I don't know if this is the funniest but seems pretty funny to me right now. The pt. is a 20 yo male, high on meth and out of his head. He goes from crying and being scared to being loud, abrasive and threatening. The SO has him cuffed to our cot and we are trying to get some info on the guy before transporting him. The SO had been called because he was yelling on someone's roof. When the officers arrived he was off the roof and hiding in a shed. He calls one of the officers by a name and another officer corrects him saying "That's not Jason, that is Mike." Our patient starts making funny faces at the officer and says, "Oh Mike! Mike is one sexy woman, come here Mike." and He begins throwing kisses at "Mike". Then he turns to me. Gotta tell you here, I am 63 years old and my days of being sexy are long gone. The pt. begins asking me if I want to crawl on the cot with him! The funny thing is that there are a bunch of young kids standing around. Some being questioned, some just there being curious. The looks on their faces, seeing this kid putting the moves on an old lady were priceless! I think it may have cured some addicts that night! Anyone thought of videoing these things and sending the pt home with a little something to watch later?

My stupid call........12 Midnight. Tones go off.....get to apartment. : "Whats the problem sir?"...........Pt: "I cant fall asleep!"
Me: " have you tried?"....Pt:" Yep1!".....ME :"AND YOU WANT US TO HELP YOU HOW?"...........Pt :" I want go to the hospital..."...........Me: "Ok but I dont know how they are going to help you".........Pt: "They can give me something".......Me:"Got your shoes?".........He procedes to wake up his wife who is SLEEPING quite soundly to tell he that he will be back later.
