Ok... there has to be other women in EMS who have had the same difficulty finding EMS pants... right? So where did you end up finding them? [I'm even having trouble finding (affordable ones) them online!]

I am part of a paid-on-call department and need to find proper pants to wear and am having a very difficult time finding anyone who stocks them for women! (Please don't suggest that I just get some men's pants as they won't fit properly. Men simply don't have 'hips' cut into their pants... )

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I wear the mens 511 tatical pants which u can get from alot of different places including galls. They area also a bit pricey but very well worth it for us plus sizes. I wear a 28 in womens pants and the 54 in the mens fit me great and are so reinforced u wont ever rip the crotch out (been there done that several times) I have had mine for 2 years and they have held up great
Try Aspen Mills, I have a couple of pairs and they fit great and come in women's sizes, imagine that, I'm short & petite and they either don't fit in the hips and fit in the waist or vise versa. A little spendy but well worth it, & I'm only volunteer they they give us a spending allowance. Hope this helped.

Have you tried Blue Grass Uniforms in Ky. That is where my husband found mine
I'm from toledo, ohio and i got my EMT pants at woodville surplus. I dont know if they have an on-line store but their prices were good, about 17.00 and they hold up well. I think they are mens but who can tell. they have bookoo pockets oh yah!
I got mine on eBay for around 25.00. Just type in EMS/EMT pants, women. Good Luck!
Thank you so much for all the suggestions of places to find EMT pants! I'm glad to know that they really are out there! :-)
I have seen every EMS men's and women's pant on the market and AllMed has a New Fit for women called the Perfect Fit. It is designed to sit on the hips and not way up on the stomach allowing for a more natural look and a great comfortable fit. The pants do not fade and are very well constructed with alot of features and benefits that make for the ultimate EMS pant.
Here is the link to them: http://www.allmed.net/catalog/item/1,2257,2385,2388,2636

Try the 5:11 EMS pants. I have found them to be awesome. They cost a little more but last forever.

Good Luck,
